SæbeRiget is our family-owned micro-soap factory located in the middle of the wild nature of West Jutland close to Blåvand. Since 2017, our vision has been to produce delicious soap and care products with a focus on good craftsmanship as well as ecology, local ingredients and sustainability.
SæbeRiget grew out of my desire to make clean and natural care products for my own girls, who are now adults. I originally trained as a midwife and through my work I have experienced what harmful substances and chemistry in our surroundings can do to our bodies and the environment. This has only strengthened my passion for ecology and natural ingredients.
Handpicked and organic ingredients
All SæbeRiget products are handcrafted and contain as many organic and natural ingredients as possible. Most of our products, including hot processed solid soaps, shampoo bars, body oils, and body scrubs, are, for example, fully organic. We take great pride in this.
Several of the raw materials we use come directly from the West Jutland nature surrounding SæbeRiget. We use sand and seawater from the beach at Skallingen, as well as rosehips from the coastal dunes. We also use amber powder sourced from a local amber jewelry artisan in Blåvand.
In the production of our soaps and shampoos, we use Danish produced and organic rapeseed oil. Rapeseed is a crop that does not depend on specific weather conditions and thrives in both rainy and dry seasons.
Ecology
We are continually working to increase the content of organic ingredients in SæbeRiget’s products. We use organic oils, and several of our products are 100 percent organic. This includes our hot-processed solid soaps, organic body oils, organic body scrubs, and foot bath salts.
